Well, this week was a ZERO, ZIP, NADDA,, NOTHING for weight loss numbers, nope, not even a pound, which I thought I would see. But, why?
That's the easy part and what I have stated back in the beginning, is proven.
I haven't had a lot of time to workout in the past week, in fact, 2 of my workouts were after midnight, which is NOT good for your body, unless of course you are accustom to being up at night, working graveyard shifts and that time would be "your morning" lol!!
I also didn't account for all my calories... it was a handful of the kid's popcorn one night, a bite of this or one mini that and yep, I KNEW this was going to happen, that's why I am not all like aaaahhh!!! where's my 2 lbs weight loss!!!! LOL!! No, that would make me a hypocrite lol!
And for most that know me, I am up to my eyeballs in renovations, we have a master bedroom ripped apart AND a kitchen, and I am working at something in these rooms everyday. In fact, I have been working on renovations almost constantly since last year, with a small break over the Christmas Holidays. So that DOES make it a REGULAR ROUTINE!
Why is that important?
Because my body KNOWS these movements, it accounts for them in my daily intake and output of calories, so there can't be any expected weight loss or benefit from it, its a routine.
So this morning, "Mini Me" and I grabbed our bikes and headed out with water in hand... I LOVE THIS SITE (CLICK HERE) for entering in my bike rides, it will map it and tell me how far I went... AND I can use the "MY WORKOUTS" to keep track of my overall calorie loss and distance from my own workouts at home as well. Its a great site!!!!
Anyhow, this morning, we rode a total of 10 miles in one hour, it was great!!! just gotta get her to be able to keep up to me so we can go faster LOL!! And of course, farther lol!!
I am NOT bummed I didn't lose anything this week, for the simple reason, I know why, I know what caused the lack of numbers.
Which means next week, I WILL SEE that I am a total of 40lbs down!
This is real life :o)
As I mentioned before, there is a gal on FB that was dropping 4-10lbs in a week, at a time, she lost 100lbs in a few short months... all she did was find a new way to starve herself to GET the numbers. She is NOT healthy and has had more complications with existing health issues as a result. THAT is a dead ringer that a person is NOT doing something right, because IF you are losing weight the proper way, your health IMPROVES!! Not the opposite.

Taco Turkey Burgers

3-4oz ground turkey per person
Bread Crumbs (Whole Wheat)
1 Lg Egg
Seasonings of Choice
Taco Seasoning (Low Sodium)
Make your burgers as you normally would, adding whatever spices and such that you like. And bread crumbs to hold it together and for a kick, add low sodium taco seasoning.
Grill for best results!
