Are the wheels falling off? lol!!
Its an expression for me personally when life gets going at such a pace that its hard to keep up. That's what life has been like for a while now.
I was able to fit in workouts during downtime from renovating our house but, now that the renos are in full swing, everything seems to squeeze from all directions.
One thing I noticed was supplementation appears to help me, help me avoid the cravings for chocolate for one, which makes total complete sense. It has been long known that Chocolate Cravings are linked to a need for Magnesium in the diet. And the Supplements I was taking, require you to go off them from time to time, it keeps them effective and gives your body a break.
A break is needed for your body sometimes to absorb and process what you are taking OR so there is not a "build up" of some of the ingredients that can also overwhelm your system.
If you do a little research on whatever it is you take and why, you can find this information by using some of the better sites, like the Mayo Clinic and Harvard sites.
A break is always good, no matter what you are taking in the way of supplements.
I am starting back on mine today, remembering NOT to take a multivitamin WITH anything high in Fiber, as it will bind to the fiber and excrete from the body without having gained any of the benefits OF the Vitamin at all.
I usually take mine with a protein to gain the best results, at a snack time.
Have a great day and if you have a recipe to submit, lemme know. If you have one you like but, its not quite healthy, we can always try to tweak it to get it there too :o)
Have a great day, keep moving and going!!! ♥
