So the last few days, I decided that things were not changing and it was time to get running again, so I did....
Just short runs at 6 & 7mph for 1 minute, 45 or 30 seconds to test the hip out.
Not very good.
It was a mild soreness the first night with hardly anything after a good night's sleep but, after yesterday, I was limping around the house, avoiding the stairs and in much more pain.
So I iced it, did a little bit of therapy, not much and put my liquid ice on it a few times as well.
This morning, it is much better but, I am NOT going to push it. Today will be a day off.
I know that my lower body is twisted, not sure how or why but, the fact remains, it is and the pain I had yesterday was approaching the severe level range.
I will not run until I see the chiropractor again and/or the family doctor.
I am also stymied regarding my weight scale....
I DO NOT recommend weighing yourself every day, but, in my case I use it as a guide, I know by such and such day, if I don't see the scale moved downward, I won't see a weight loss number on Tuesday.
And at present, I am NOT seeing what I should to know what is coming, I busted my butt this week, 10 mile bike ride in less than 1 hour, elliptical, treadmill and a mild weight workout to the tune of over 3 hours in the gym... and yes, my eating is on target for my caloric requirements.
So I don't get it.
Just a tad frustrated lol!! But, when I figure out the puzzle, I will blog about it in case anyone else is experiencing the same thing... nope, no stressors either, I am thrilled that the kitchen Reno is ahead of schedule and that the bedroom will be done back to back, putting us WELL ahead of schedule, which means our break from working on the house, might actually be a longer one than we planned! lol!
So all is good, all is better than right... just doesn't make sense.
I will go back to look at my food journals in more detail cause the ONLY thing that makes any sense is maybe my Carbs are getting up too high at this point of the program. If that's the case, then I will have to cut out the oatmeal lol!! :oP
